Hi, I’m Becca! My pronouns are she/her.

My counselling journey began in 2019 when I first moved to Bristol for my Undergraduate degree in Psychology (BPS Acred). After taking a module in Counselling and Psychotherapy, I knew I eventually wanted to support people through their personal storms and therefore decided to take the plunge into my own. Whilst starting and completing my Level 2 and 3 in Counselling skills and studies, I volunteered for a Bristol based crisis line. I began my own personal counselling during my Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (CBCAB) and understand how scary making that initial phone call can be, but I can honestly say that it was life changing!

During my training, I became the first trainee counsellor for Talk to the Rainbow (a low cost Bristol LGBTQ+ Counselling service), who I have continued to volunteer for post qualification. Being a part of the community myself, it is very important to me to provide counselling '‘to queer people from queer people', and I take pride in continuing to work with the beautiful LGBTQ+ community of Bristol!

I work relationally, and therefore it is important that we are compatible, like any other relationship. To find out if we might be a good fit, feel free to explore 'working with me' or get in touch to arrange an introductory phone call.

There are no commitments to continue if you don't feel I am right for you, and I wish you all the luck in your continued search.

I’m a Registered Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), and I’m wholeheartedly committed to working within their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. I also hold current, specialist professional insurance.
